Refund Policy

At Doc Lance Enterprise Inc., we value our clients and strive to provide professional, reliable, and high-quality DJ, MC, and coordination services for weddings, private, and corporate events across Ontario. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for bookings and payments made through our business.
1. General Policy
All bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit, which confirms the date and service agreement. This deposit covers administrative costs and prevents double-booking of your event date.
Refunds, whether partial or full, may be considered only under specific conditions outlined below.
2. Partial Refunds
A partial refund of the deposit may be granted if cancellation occurs within 15 days of booking confirmation. Requests must be made in writing to iamtherealdoclance@gmail.com within that period.
After 15 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
3. Cancellations Within 45 Days of Event
If a client cancels less than 45 days before the scheduled event, the client will be responsible for 50% of the remaining balance due, payable within 10 days of cancellation notice.
This policy exists because we often turn away other potential clients to reserve your date.
4. Event Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your event, Doc Lance Enterprise Inc. will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new date, subject to availability.

If the new date is available, your payment will be transferred with no penalty.

If the new date is unavailable, standard cancellation terms will apply.
5. Refunds Initiated by Doc Lance Enterprise Inc.
In the unlikely event that Doc Lance Enterprise Inc. must cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, or force majeure), all reasonable efforts will be made to:

Provide a qualified replacement; or

Issue a full refund of any payments received, including the deposit.
6. No-Show or Event Disruptions
Refunds will not be issued for:

Client or guest non-attendance

Venue access issues

Weather conditions or interruptions outside of our control

Event cancellations initiated by third parties
7. Processing of Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days using the original method of payment, unless otherwise arranged.
